Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Overview
At EduGateway, we aim to provide high-quality AI-driven educational and advisory services. Given the digital nature of our platform and the immediate accessibility of our premium tools and databases, we maintain a strict refund and cancellation policy as detailed below.
2. Subscription Cancellations
Cancellation Process: You may cancel your EduGateway subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at help@edugateway.com.
No Prorated Refunds: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months or years.
3. Non-Refundability of Fees
Subscription Fees: All payments for Pro and Elite subscriptions are non-refundable once processed. This includes monthly and annual billing cycles.
One-Time Professional Services: Fees for specialized one-time services, such as 1-on-1 advisor reviews, SOP drafting assistant services, or high-touch application editing, are non-refundable once work has commenced or the AI resource budget for the service has been allocated.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in very limited circumstances, such as:
- Proven technical failure of the platform as its primary function that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
- Accidental duplicate billing for the same account and same service.
Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the transaction date. Any refund issued will be subject to a processing fee as determined by our payment partners (e.g., Paystack and Stripe).
5. Fraudulent Chargebacks
We take a firm stance against fraudulent chargebacks. If you initiate an unauthorized dispute or chargeback with your bank, your EduGateway account will be immediately suspended, all data will be forfeited, and you will be blacklisted from future use of our services. We reserve the right to report fraudulent activity to credit bureaus and relevant authorities.
6. Service Thresholds
For "Elite" services involving human advisors, cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session are subject to a 50% late-cancellation fee to compensate our advisors for their reserved time.
